Zeal Bow review

I have been using the Zeal bow for a month now and this is what I think.

I like this bow it punches above its weight.
Simply put: new professional bows are about 2000.00 dollars and up.
The Zeal bow is less than 700.00 and feels great. Its octagonal at the frog and become round near the balance point. I am a gut player (when I don't do electronics) and it's very nice -no problems -I got the black hair. The case is also a keeper.

On the downside it has a few loose hairs but I think this could be due to shipping direct from China, in the winter, which took almost 4 weeks. I did go with the less expensive shipping option.

An excellent bow at a good price.

This “Zeal” French bow by Xavier Foley is unmatched in price for it’s high quality craftsmanship of beautiful pernambuco tone wood, fittings and frog. This “Zeal”bow by Xavier makes playing in the upper register so easy as it produces crystal bell like tones as well as articulating lower register playing. The white, black, white hair is neatly installed with the black hair down the middle for extra body and the white hair on both sides for smoothness for a perfect combination. The beautiful hard shell case is really an exceptional bargain for the extra ten dollars and Xavier probably included that to guarantee a safe shipping and a solid case to protect it for the long run.
I am really impressed with Xavier Foley’s Zeal bow and extend a big THANKS to Xavier for his musical inspiration and providing such a playable bow at such an affordable price!
