The piece is melodic and expressive. It offers great opportunities to use and perform double stops and harmonics. Deeper editing - such as bowings and possibly adding fingering suggestions would be worth an extra charge. Maybe offer edited and unedited versions?

It's a simple and pretty melody, but Xavier throws in some challenging harmonics and 3 octave shifts to make it interesting for the performer to show off with!

Excellent bass solo
My 9th grader loves playing the double bass, both in an orchestra and a jazz ensemble. He chose this piece by Xavier Foley for a class assignment and it’s just lovely. Highly recommend!
